THIS MEANS WAR- Good or Bad?

This Means War is both a good and bad film. It is a giant Hollywood Blockbuster with explosions, adventures and a love triangle. I'm not going to give you a synopsis of the film. That would be a waste of your time. I am just going to say if you are looking for a few hours of light, silly fun then it will hit the spot. I am going to say SUSPEND DISBELIEF. For a few hours, try not to judge and just stare. Stare at best buds FDR Foster (Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy)...Meow. Stare at the very cute Lauren (Reese Witherspoon). Stare and enjoy how every frame is an individually edited scene depicting one of the leads' most compelling features; Pines' giant blue eyes, Hardys' puffy moist lips and Witherspoons' gymnast-tight body. Put them together and your subconscious is set to create it's own version of an ideal hottie with their body parts. Like your own Mr.Potato Head! Do I wish they would have taken the reported 70 million dollars and used it for outfitting small poor towns with bikes? Do I wish they would have taken that money and given it to 70 filmmakers around the world to make 70 movies. Maybe. But they didn't. They made a Act-Rom. It is what it is.....It's not going to change your life. But it may make it lighter for a few hours while you are in the theatre!
