Bold and gorgeous move for www.ted.com to have Wadah Khanfa, Director General of the Al Jazeera Network speak this morning.

Wadah talked about how the political elite have lost lots of power with the growth of social networks and "consumer jounalism". He believes we are living through the evolution of a new world where we are more transparent than ever and it's clear people care.

SIDENOTE: It is an amazing thing that we are connection from continent to continent, but research and development needs to be top priority for more ways to network together. Countries can still shut sites down and go BLACK if they really wanted to.
